Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Get repair orders from the dispatcher and take cars to the stall area.
- Perform work in accordance with the repair order with accuracy and efficiency, following all dealership and factory standards.
- Perform repairs that you have correctly diagnosed as authorized.
- In order to obtain necessary parts, communicate with the Parts Department.
- Set aside and label parts for turning in if the job is under warranty or if the customer specifically requests it.
- Let the service advisor know if work outlined is not needed, if more work is needed, or if more time is necessary to complete outlined work.
- Perform sufficient documentation for work done.
- In order to ensure that repair has addressed the customer complaint, road-test vehicles.
- Carry out all necessary quality checks.
- Attend all of your training classes.
- Keep abreast of all current factory technical bulletins.
- Ensure that customers’ vehicles are kept clean during the work.
- Successfully administer safety and housekeeping policies and procedures as you work.
- Know and follow all regulations and guidelines regarding service and repair work, whether they be federal, state, or local.
