The Chevrolet Traverse
  The 2021 Chevrolet Traverse is one of the Jeep Grand Cherokee L's top competitors. Although this SUV has a starting price of $29,800, it is slightly less expensive, but you can expect to receive less when paying less. This midsize SUV also has seating for up to eight passengers and offers fewer technology & safety features compared to the Grand Cherokee L.Â
The Traverse offers standard technology features that most SUVs on the market have. Some of the technological features consist of smartphone compatibility, multiple USB ports, and Amazon Alexa. It is also fitted with navigation and a digital touchscreen. In addition, if you purchase the more expensive model, you'll be able to take advantage of heated front seats and dual climate control options.Â
The Traverse has similar features to the Grand Cherokee L, but they aren't as advanced in safety. The primary safety features include automatic emergency braking, front pedestrian braking, Lane Change Alert with Side Blind Zone Alert, and Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning. As you can see, the Chevrolet Traverse has a less significant amount of safety features. Â
The 2021 Chevrolet Traverse will have trouble competing with the Jeep Grand Cherokee L in a performance aspect. It is equipped with a 3.6L V6 engine that produces 310 horsepower. When it comes to towing capacity, the Chevrolet Traverse also has difficulties. It has a maximum towing capacity of 5,000 lbs which is 2,200 lbs less than the Jeep Grand Cherokee L.
