Route 18 Autos is hosting a Food Drive Gathering on Friday, November 22nd, at 6 PM at their Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram dealership. Join us for a night of giving back and enjoy some refreshments while you donate non-perishable food items. All donors will have a chance to win!

This year, we're proud to once again support the VFW Post 133 of East Brunswick, NJ. Your donations will directly benefit local veterans and their families.

We're aiming to fill the back of a pickup truck with non-perishable food items. Every donation, big or small, will help us reach our goal.

How to Donate:

  1. Bring a bag of non-perishable food items to the Route 18 Autos dealership on November 22nd at 6 PM.
  2. Enjoy refreshments and mingle with other community members.
  3. You'll be entered into the raffle for a chance to win a $200 Gift Card!

What to Donate:

Canned Goods: A Nutritious Choice

Canned goods are a convenient and affordable option for food banks. Here are some of the best canned goods to donate:

  • Soups: A hearty and comforting meal in a can.
  • Fruits: A great source of vitamins and minerals, especially during the off-season.
  • Vegetables: A versatile ingredient that can be added to meals or eaten on their own.

Other Shelf-stable Items

Please note: we do not accept glass containers, opened or damaged containers, expired items, or anything needing refrigeration.
  • Packaged foods (cereal, crackers, seeds, nuts, oats, granola, rice, quinoa, beans, pasta)
  • Plastic jar foods (peanut butter, other nut/seed butters, jelly, cooking oil, pasta sauce)
  • Shelf-stable milk (dairy, oat, nut, etc.)

  • Consider the nutritional value: Choose items that are low in sodium, sugar, and unhealthy fats.
